Start with your local preferences

Open Settings. Choose language and region in the Region and language section, then use Field preferences for display units, decimal precision, and whether incoming laser readings are auto-saved. Language and region are presentation preferences; changing units changes display, not the saved measurement basis. Recheck unit and precision before manual entry, review, or export.

  1. Open Settings, then Region and language.
  2. Choose language and region, then use Field preferences to choose meters, feet, or inches and the needed display precision.
  3. Review an existing reading before changing workflow settings or issuing a report.

Projects, trades, rooms, and roof sections

A project is the top-level job record. Choose the trade, then add and name its spaces. Flooring uses rooms; other trade profiles can use their own space label, such as roof sections. A sketch, photo, note, and measurement belong to the selected space, so confirm project, trade, and space before recording or deleting.

Manual and reviewer-friendly measurement path

Bluetooth is optional. If no compatible laser is available, select the project and space, use the manual measurement control, and enter a clear label, value, mode, and note. A reviewer can inspect source, capture time, unit, notes, linked sketch lines, and report selections without a laser. Sketches are schematic aids, not surveyed plans or site verification.

Bluetooth measuring tools

Connection depends on the exact tool model, firmware, operating system, transport, and native build. Current Bosch and Leica candidates are not hardware-tested universal compatibility claims. Leica DISTO BLE is metric beta: set the tool to meters and confirm the reading. Some Bosch paths are model-specific, and no path promises remote laser firing. If capture fails, use manual entry and preserve device details for review.

Photos and permission problems

In a space's Site photos area, choose Import photo or Camera. If access is denied, allow the relevant camera or photo permission in operating-system or browser settings and try again; otherwise continue without photos. Imported native photos are copied into MultiFlex Measure's local workflow for annotation, while the original gallery item is separate. Deleting a photo removes its record and requests cleanup of the app-owned copy, but a failed cleanup can leave a residual file.

Reports and data exports

From Reports, choose sections and export PDF or SVG, or CSV or an Excel workbook for tabular data. Web export downloads a file; installed mobile apps use the available system share sheet. Exports can disclose selected contacts, site details, measurements, notes, sketches, photo material or references, branding, and trade or material information. Review output and destination before sharing; photo references do not necessarily embed image files.

Backups, deletion, and sample data

MultiFlex Measure does not automatically back up or sync the local workspace. Export important reports or data before clearing browser or app data, changing devices, or uninstalling. Delete projects and photos from workspace controls, then use operating-system or browser controls for downloads, gallery originals, app data, and residual local files. Restore sample project restores the marked sample only; it does not wipe real projects.

Checklist use and safe troubleshooting

Treat in-app trade checklists, rules, and reference material as versioned working guidance. Confirm the displayed version, local conditions, contract requirements, manufacturer instructions, and applicable authority. They are not certification, legal advice, engineering approval, or a guarantee of code compliance. For a crash, record the app version, device model, operating-system version, and reproducible steps, but avoid client addresses, photos, measurements, credentials, or other secrets.
